Soleil Moon Frye: Bathing Suit Suits Soleil’s Sleek Physique After 40-Pound Weight Loss With Nutrisystem [Photos]

Soleil Moon Frye is basking in a bathing suit after her weight loss success. With 40 pounds banished from her body, the actress is oh-so-ready to enjoy her Memorial Day weekend, reported Us Weekly.

Known for her starring role on Punky Brewster, the mom of three is only five feet, one inch tall. Although her petite frame makes it even more challenging to shed pounds, Soleil succeeded with the help of Nutrisystem.

“I feel amazing,” declared Soleil.

Flaunting her figure in a photo shoot for Nutrisystem, Frye made it clear that she loves her newly sleek physique.

But what a difference a year makes. Soleil was stressed about the challenges of losing weight.

“The idea of getting into a bathing suit used to be terrifying,” said Frye when she reached the first stage of her weight loss goals by losing 23 pounds. “Now, I’m a little nervous but excited!”

After taking off 40 pounds and flaunting the results in a bathing suit, however, Soleil has lost the nerves and is just excited about the shopping fun that awaits.

“There are so many fun suits to choose from this summer. I’m ringing in Memorial Day weekend with this little black suit!”

Soleil isn’t the only actress to use Nutrisystem for weight loss. As the Inquisitr reported, Genie Francis, known by General Hospital fans as Laura Spencer, also chose Nutrisystem to lose 30 pounds.

Genie revealed that she was put on a diet at age 14.

“I started working when I was 14 years old. The first thing they did after I had been there for three or four months is put Laura on a diet. I totally freaked and it was very hard on me.”

For more than three decades, Genie tried all types of diets. Then, when her weight battles became increasingly frustrated, Francis turned to Nutrisystem for help. She lost 30 pounds in just seven months.

“I wanted something different this time,” Genie explained. “A lot of the diets I’ve been on have been extreme and taught me how to starve myself. But this has taught me how to feed myself.”

As for Soleil Moon Frye, the bathing suit beauty hopes that her weight loss will inspire other moms, reported E News.

“I just think it’s important to empower ourselves. We have kids and we love our kids. But we still have ourselves. I want to feel like the best version of myself. I want to encourage moms to feel good about themselves. It’s great to feel your best. If I can do it, anyone can do it.”
