WWE News: WWE Legend Believes Adam Rose Deserves A Huge Push

Mick Foley, WWE Hall of Fame wrestler, has never been shy about what he wants WWE to do on his Facebook page. It’s his open forum for Mick Foley’s opinion on the WWE. Instead of complaining, for lack of a better word, about WWE’s product, he made a suggestion on his Facebook page yesterday. After Adam Rose’s story was unveiled on the E:60 program about WWE NXT, he’s become a fan favorite, especially in Mick Foley’s eyes.

“I loved the gimmick; I even offered to sign my legend’s contract if they let me and my kids make a cameo as pert of the “Exotic Express”. I assumed, like any WWE NXT call-up with some years to his/her credit, that the guy had worked hard and overcome obstacles to get his shot. But until watching ESPN e60 “Behind the Curtain” documentary, I had no idea just how hard Rose had worked, just how many obstacles he had overcome – in both wrestling and in life. Within minutes, I found myself rooting for Adam Rose – WWE Universe as not just a wrestler, but as a person – as a husband and father trying to make a difference in not only the world of wrestling, but in the game of life.”

“I just learned that the Rose character was influenced by Dude Love, and that his previous Leo Kruger character was influenced by Mankind. Maybe Mr McMahon can take a page out his 1997 playbook, and afford Adam Rose’s real-life story the type of attention he afforded my own. For me, it was a game-changer. I think a similar setting could produce similar results for Rose, and WWE. I strongly urge the powers-that-be to do not only what’s best for Adam Rose, but what’s best for business.”

Foley’s words are well-respected because of his knowledge of the business and dedication to studying the WWE. Rose is an excellent worker, and not just Foley understands that. When he was Leo Kruger in FCW and WWE NXT, the monster heel was beloved by the fans. Will Kruger ever come back to WWE programming? I asked him that question and he responded on Twitter.

Before Adam Rose became a character in WWE, it was originally supposed to go to another WWE superstar. Justin Gabriel was Rose’s “Bunny” and said that the Rose gimmick originally was scheduled for him. If that would’ve happened, the WWE might still have Leo Kruger on their TV screens. After Foley pulled off his diatribe on Facebook, will the WWE push Adam Rose?
