This Teenage Girl Just Might Have The World’s Longest Tongue [Video]
Adrianne Lewis is not your typical 18-year-old girl, with her serpent-like tongue, she can not only touch her chin, nose and elbow – but she can even lick her own eyeball.
Lewis’ tongue measures in 10.16 centimeters or four inches and she’s got her eyes set on the Guinness World Record.
The Michigan teenager received worldwide recognition after one of her pictures with her sticking out her tongue went viral – and though she has not yet been officially judged by the Guinness World Record, there are apparently talks going on with her and the organization to see if she’s the new title holder.
The world record holder for the longest tongue is currently being held by Nick Stoeberl, who has a tongue measuring at 3.97 inches, according to Barcroft TV.
“I feel as though I may have inherited it, but I think with time and me being the weird kid that I was and always sticking out my tongue, it could have stretched it,” said Adrianne.
“My mom, grandmother and my great grandfather all had very long tongues.
“In elementary school I was made fun of a lot – I would just flick my tongue in bullies’ faces and freak them out,” she said.
Adrianne, who was also featured on Ripley’s Believe It Or Not at the age of 13, created a YouTube channel two years ago where she shares her unusual tongue talents with the world under the nickname ‘Long Tongue Lewis’.
And, since the internet is the internet, naturally there’s a negative side to her online fame. A side her boyfriend, Tim Hegedus, 19, is none too pleased about.
“There’s a lot of weird people on the internet and I’ve seen some comments that are a little uncomfortable,” he shared.
Hmm, we can’t imagine what he means…
