When Lizzie Rovsek joined The Real Housewives of Orange County , she was a mother of two with a working husband. Lizzie had been active in the pageant world prior to becoming a mother, and she loved having something to do. So, Rovsek decided to start a swim suit line so she could keep her creative juices flowing.
While filming The Real Housewives of Orange County, Lizzie Rovsek went around to stores to showcase her line, worked hard to get the clothing into stores and fans saw her trying to balance work and raising children. Over the past year, Rovsek has been trying to spread the word about her bathing suit line, Sun Kitten Swimwear , and it sounds like her hard work is paying off. This week, Lizzie had some great news to share.
According to a new Bravo report, Lizzie Rovsek announced this week that her Sun Kitten Swimwear line will be the official swimwear for Miss USA 2015. Of course, with Rovsek’s connections and experiences in the pageant world, it isn’t very surprising that this would be her first major business move.
“In less than 2 months I will be in Baton Rouge doing fittings for all the gorgeous Miss USA 2015 contestants????!” Lizzie Rovsek revealed, adding, “I can’t wait to meet them!!”
The show will take place on July 12 in Baton Rouge. This is a major accomplishment for Lizzie, who started the swim line back in 2010. She started with merely an online store, but now she wants to spread the word even more with her swimwear line. While her husband really wanted a third child, Rovsek wanted to work on her business.
“Sun Kitten has been like my third baby to some extent,” she revealed last summer, adding, “I created it, gave it direction, cultivated the line and I’m now ready to see Sun Kitten move out of the house and travel abroad… Literally! Like I said, Sun Kitten was an online store, and was carried by only a few small boutiques across the country. Now, my goal has been to get Sun Kitten into stores nationwide and even worldwide.”
It is possible that Miss USA will be a part of the new season of The Real Housewives of Orange County , as Lizzie Rovsek has been filming the new season. According to the Inquisitr , her co-stars have confirmed that Lizzie will be present for the new season. And it sounds like it will be a great season.
