Kim Kardashian’s daughter is a future selfie queen in the making — she just doesn’t realize it yet.
According to People, Kim Kardashian revealed that North West has already snapped tons of selfies. However, the little girl isn’t perfecting her duck face or looking for her best angle just yet. In fact, North doesn’t even know that she’s taking photos of herself.
“She has a computer of mine with all of these movies and music on it, and I was just using it, and I noticed the Photo Booth, there were all these selfies of her, that she doesn’t realize she’s taking, but she presses it, and it’s so funny,” Kim revealed at the Variety Power of Women luncheon in New York.
Kim Kardashian has published a book of her own selfies titled Selfish , so perhaps North West should consider doing her own selfie picture book for kids in the near future. However, while selfies are an important part of the Kardashian brand, Kim doesn’t want North West to spend all her time posing for pictures — the little girl is actually learning skills that require hard work and dedication.
“She loves ballet, tap, she takes piano lessons,” Kim revealed. “She’s very, very active, and she’s growing so big and so fast.”
Kim said that she loves taking pictures with her daughter, but she caused quite the controversy late last year when she cropped North West out of a photo (this is why North needs to learn how to take selfies).
According to MTV News , Kim later tweeted an explanation for why she didn’t want North’s face in the photo.
“Her eyes were closed and I was feeling my look! Can I live?!?!”
Perhaps Kim Kardashian was just teaching North West an early photo editing lesson.
North can also learn a thing or two about taking selfies from her aunt, 17-year-old Instagram star Kylie Jenner. Kylie is definitely following in Kim’s footsteps by using social media to sell herself, and it could be argued that she’s on her way to becoming a bigger social media star than her half-sister. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kylie is a pro at drastically changing her look using makeup, and her drawn-on lips even inspired the viral Kylie Jenner lip challenge . Kylie could use the challenge to teach North about the dark side of the internet. She could also point to her feud with Tyga’s ex , Blac Chyna, as a misuse of social media.
