Porsha Williams Is There For Phaedra: ‘She Was There For Me During My Divorce’

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams may not have been a huge part of this past season of the show, but Porsha has been putting her friends first. Many will say that she has been NeNe Leakes’ mouthpiece this entire season, but Williams has also been there for Phaedra Parks. In fact, Williams has been a huge support system for Parks, who has been dealing with her husband’s betrayal.

Porsha Williams is now speaking out about her support for her co-star, who has been struggling to make sense of everything that has happened to her over the past year. In fact, Williams has been a shoulder to cry on. Many people may question why Porsha has been there so much for Parks, but it is because she has once relied on her co-star for support.

According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams is now revealing that it has been easy for her to be there for Parks, because she was there for Williams when she was going through her sudden divorce from Kordell Stewart.

“Honestly, being there for Phaedra was easy,” The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams revealed about being there for her co-star, adding, “She was there for me when I went through my divorce, just the phone call away at any point and time. That was our relationship at the time.”

One of the biggest questions in regards to friendships this season has been Kandi Burruss’ absence in regards to Parks’ issues. According to the Inquisitr, Phaedra has thanked by Porsha Williams and NeNe Leakes for being great friends and support systems, but her long-time friend Kandi has not been a great support for her. But Williams wants Phaedra to know that she has a friend when she needs one.

“I wanted to make sure that she felt I was just a phone call away, whatever that was — whether we just get on the phone and have a conversation, not even talking about what she was going through,” Porsha Williams explained. “We never really went through all the details—her, Kandi, her husband, none of that! It was just being there for her and just being supportive with whatever she was doing.”

But Porsha Williams has other battles to fight. This season, she made the accusation that Cynthia Bailey’s husband had been sleeping around Atlanta. During the reunion show, Porsha will have to answer to these accusations.
