Remember those rumors that Khloe Kardashian is still carrying a torch of Lamar Odam? Well, they are getting a resurgence, caused by Khloe herself.
Yesterday, Khloe made an Instagram post that raised eyebrows. The picture focuses on her hand, and appears to highlight Lamar Odom’s initials tattooed just below her right thumb.

There is also evidence that Khloe Kardashian still carries Lamar Odom’s last name. Khloe and her older sister, Kim Kardashian-West, made a trip to Armenia to mark the 100th anniversary of the Armenian genocide. While there, the sisters were presented with the gift of a plot of land in Armenia. Khloe’s name is written on the certificate as Khloe Kardashian Odom . Khloe posted a photograph of the certificate to her Instagram account, but quickly deleted it. The post apparently caused some question as to whether or not Khloe and Lamar are still married.
The answer is yes, and, at least as far as the state of California is concerned, it may stay that way.
As reported by TMZ, Khloe filed for divorce in December, 2013. Lamar never responded, and now the court is threatening to dismiss the case as early as the end of April. According to TMZ, Khloe has the right to request a default divorce, but has so far failed to do so. Sources close to the Kardashian family told TMZ that Khloe doesn’t want to deal with the divorce and would rather just let the case be dismissed.
Fans hoping that Lamar and Khloe might peacefully reconcile may be disappointed. Hollywood Life reports that Lamar recently stopped trying to win Khloe back. Instead, Odom recently rekindled a relationship with Lara Manoukian. Odom and Manoukian dated shortly before his whirlwind romance with Khloe Kardashian. A source close to Khloe told the following to Hollywood Life.
“Hearing that Lamar is back with his ex is crushing for Khloe. She’s heartbroken over it and still doesn’t know if she believes it. To find out anther woman is making him happy is like a knife to the heart. Hearing that he’s also doing better than ever living a good clean life while with this woman is even harder to deal with.”
Odom’s new found love hasn’t prompted him to respond to the divorce, but it may explain why Khloe is reluctant to seek a default divorce.
Of course, Khloe may just have been gushing over the gear shift of her Bentley, which is also featured prominently in the picture. For now, all Kardashian fans can do is watch and hope.
