Rapper Drake has finally broken his silence about his jaw-dropping, on-stage kiss with Madonna last weekend.
Even though his reaction on stage seemed to be one of disgust, the Energy rapper set the record straight with an Instagram post Monday night.
“Don’t misinterpret my shock!! I got to make out with the queen Madonna and I feel 100 about that forever. Thank you, Madonna”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Drake and Madonna made out on stage during the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The fact that Madonna kissed Drake at all did not seem to be as shocking or surprising as Drake’s apparent reaction to the kiss.

Drake appeared to be wiping his mouth in disgust immediately after being released from the intense kiss. That reaction and apparent misinterpretation led to a flood of Internet memes and Twitter parodies going viral almost immediately.

Long before Drake decided to come clean about his honest reaction on Instagram, TMZ reported that an inside source blamed the look of disgust on the aftertaste Drake suffered from Madonna’s lipstick.
Why did Madonna kiss Drake in the first place? Madonna’s desire to kiss the 28-year-old rapper was first revealed during an Us Weekly interview last month in which she revealed 25 interesting facts.
“The lifelong ambition I still want to fulfill is to go on a dream date with Drake – and only kiss him.”
Even though Madonna and Drake did not have an “official” date, she definitely got the kiss that she wanted from him. Perhaps the fact that Drake named a song on his most recent mixtape after the Material Girl singer had something to do with her crush .
Regardless of what happens after that headline-making kiss between Madonna and Drake, the two can rest assured in knowing that they will always have Coachella.
