Kate Middleton: Booty Purchase May Give Clue To Baby’s Gender, Elizabeth Diana Leads Name Choices
Kate Middleton’s due date is rapidly approaching and many of her supporters are anxiously awaiting the birth of her second child. The Duchess of Cambridge is due in approximately three weeks, although the exact date could vary due to a variety of circumstances. Despite the looming birth date, Kate has been seen shopping around for Prince George, possibly so he does not feel like a second fiddle to his expected sibling, but she has not shied away from purchasing items for the unborn baby. The purchased items, especially a pair of booties, may coincide with rumors of the baby’s name. So much so, bets are being placed on the name and gender and wagers are escalating to large amounts of cash.
Princess Kate’s shopping sprees have continued as the baby’s due date approaches and onlookers are taking notice of the items that she is purchasing. Most of the items seem to be for Prince George, adding to his already impressive wardrobe. Yet, she seems to navigate toward the less expensive items that seem fashionable for a child his age, yet appropriate and well designed. However, while out she is often seen navigating toward the baby sections, where her choices seem to point to the gender of her soon-to-be-born child.
According to People Magazine, Kate Middleton was recently shopping at Zara, where she purchased a pair of baby booties. The booties in question were white leather and beige suede, which has many thinking the unborn child is a girl. Although the booties are labeled as Unisex, the $26.92 purchase seems to be in line with what she might purchase for a young lady, rather than a boy. The booties may not give a definitive answer to the gender question, but betters speculate that she would have chosen something more colorful for a baby boy, rather than the natural tones she chose.
E! Online reported that gamblers are closely following Kate’s purchases and are giving 7/2 odds that the child will be a girl named Elizabeth Diana. Odds on a boy’s name are 8/1 that it will be named James. Although the gamblers are basing their bets on educated guesses and hearsay, there may be something to it.
Rumors of Kate Middleton’s rocky relationship with Queen Elizabeth have been flooding the news for quite some time, and they never seem to be disproved. So, combining both Elizabeth and Diana into one name, as previously reported by the Inquisitr, would be the ultimate means of bringing the Queen and former Princess of Whales together for eternity.
What are your thoughts on the baby’s gender? What about the name?
