Did Scott Disick Quit Rehab? ‘KUWTK’ Has Been To Rehab Four Times [Report]
Did Scott Disick secretly quit rehab? According to a new report, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star left a Malibu rehab facility just 12 hours prior to entering the Costa Rican facility, where he is currently receiving treatment.
Before settling in at the Rythmia Life Advancement Center in Costa Rica, Scott Disick reportedly attempted to get help for his issues with stints in rehab facilities in Miami, Connecticut, and Malibu, California, where he lasted just hours.
On March 19, Radar Online reported the following of Scott Disick’s time in Malibu.
“The rehab featured private rooms for patients, spa treatments, and gourmet food. Despite the luxurious surroundings, Scott left after only twelve hours. At that point, Scott just didn’t believe he had a problem, and thought he didn’t need to be there.”
Radar’s sources claimed doctors had previously advised Scott Disick “to go to a traditional rehab facility that wasn’t a spa, and go to Alcoholics/Narcotics Anonymous meetings.”
Although many have had success during their time at Rythmia, others feel Scott Disick’s issues need to be broken down and addressed during a longer stint in treatment.
“Scott needs to be in rehab for at least 90 days. The fact he is boasting he will be back from rehab in a week is very, very concerning.”
As In Touch Weekly reported, Scott Disick is being paid to receive treatment at the Rythmia Life Advancement Center. On March 17, Charles Johnston confirmed Disick was not only a patient, but also the center’s official spokesman. During his time at the center, Scott Disick will be treated with Ibogaine, a controversial drug used to rid patients of dependency issues.
In the same report, In Touch Weekly spoke to addiction specialist Dr. Gregory Smith, who raised questions about the controversial drug, revealing it produces hallucinations “similar to LSD” and claims there have been reports of suicide after taking it.
As the Inquisitr reported, Scott Disick released a statement to the press after entering treatment on Monday.
“I realized my issues are bigger than me and I’m ready to truly remedy this struggle I continue to battle. While I have been unconvinced in the past of treatment and therapy methods, Rythmia’s rehab approach puts my worries at ease. The fact that there is a money-back guarantee that has never been called upon gives me even more confidence. I am looking forward to starting my therapy and iboga treatment there.”
