Nathan Griffith may have been unfaithful to Teen Mom 2 ‘s Jenelle Evans ahead of their alleged assault on Wednesday evening.
On March 5, a source spoke with E! News, claiming Nathan Griffith, who shares a young son with Evans, has been seeing another woman .
“He’s been talking to another girl for two weeks. [He] felt like he cheated on someone and then admitted he’s been seeing someone else for two weeks.”
Although the source didn’t confirm that Nathan Griffith’s communication with the other woman was the reason behind the pair’s reported physical altercation, it certainly could have been.
The source went on to reveal that while MTV’s camera crew was present at the time of the alleged violence, there was no one around to witness Nathan Griffith and Evans’ fight, because they were outside at the time.
“MTV security came into the residence due to [Jenelle’s] screaming during the altercation.”
The source said Evans isn’t “sticking up for him” because they’re “completely over,” but reportedly felt Nathan Griffith may have taken more of the blame than he should have when it came to the reported fight.
“It was a big deal but wasn’t a big deal. He didn’t intend to hurt [Jenelle] on purpose, but he shouldn’t have wrestled her or touched her, period.”
As for Nathan Griffith, he claims he “never touched” Evans.
“[Nathan Griffith] states [Jenelle] got upset with him and took the engagement ring off and thew it at him which caused the cut on her finger.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Nathan Griffith reportedly told police Evans has been “violent with him” in the past. He even showed police “old marks” from Evans on his back. In an Us Weekly report, it was noted that Nathan Griffith spoke of the incidents briefly, but wouldn’t give details to police.
Although Nathan Griffith and Evans have had an up and down relationship for the past few months, E! News’ source claims the couple is done for good after their latest alleged assault.
“It’s over and she is looking for an apartment for her and the baby [Kaiser] today.”
Also on Wednesday, Evans reportedly skipped out on a court hearing, in which she was supposed to be fighting for more rights to her oldest son, Jace.
Currently, Evans’ mother has custody of Jace, and doesn’t feel Nathan Griffith is a good influence on the child.
Nathan Griffith will be seen in Teen Mom 2 S eason 6 later this year.
