Zayn Malik And Louis Tomlinson Forget Song Lyrics: A Sign Of Trouble For 1D?

Zayn Malik And Louis Tomlinson Upset And Delight Fans By Messing Up Lyrics

Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson recently forgot the lyrics to a One Direction song in the middle of a performance, and there are two ways that Directioners can look at their error: It’s either one of those adorable 1D moments to have a good giggle about, or it’s a very bad sign.

According to Sugarscape, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson must have been on the same bad brain wavelength during One Direction’s recent concert in Osaka. The singers both forgot the lyrics to the song “Stockholm Syndrome,” but at least they proved that 1D doesn’t lip synch with their gibberish singing. In the video below, Hollywire tries to decipher their garbled words.

There’s been a lot of talk about the possibility of One Direction splitting up in the near future, and Louis and Zayn’s memory lapses could be seen as a sign that the boy band isn’t planning on being around much longer — perhaps the guys aren’t bothering to learn their lyrics because the end is so near. As the Inquisitr previously reported, many of the guys are working on projects outside of 1D, and Simon Cowell recently told the Mirror that he doesn’t have a problem with his extremely lucrative employees doing their own thing. However, he also said that he doesn’t think One Direction should split up.

“I hear speculation all the time that they’re going solo. My advice is they should stay together but still do things they want as a little bit on the side.”

Luckily, most Directioners don’t see Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik flubbing a few lyrics as a sign of bad things to come. In fact, sometimes fans actually love them more when they screw up. Others make excuses for them and come up with theories to explain their behavior.

Then there are the fans who overreact to their beloved band’s errors.

What do you think of Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson’s mumbled mistakes? Do the guys need to work harder to memorize their lyrics?
