Is A ‘RHOC’ Spinoff Coming Soon? Peggy Tanous Is Reportedly Working On A New Reality Show

Could a RHOC spinoff be coming soon? According to a new report, it’s a possibility. Although Bravo has yet to confirm any news of a RHOC spinoff, a source recently claimed former cast member Peggy Tanous has begun filming a new series.

While denying Tanous and her husband are being kicked out of their Orange County home, a source claimed the couple is currently filming a new show, which could serve as a RHOC spinoff.

“Peggy and Micah are happier than ever,” a friend of Tanous told Real Mr. Housewife on February 23. “They are NOT losing their home.”

“They have been busy filming a pilot for their new reality show.”

If Tanous does star in a RHOC spinoff, it wouldn’t be the first. As fans will recall, season one housewife Jo De La Rosa filmed a RHOC spinoff, which also starred her ex-fiance, Slade Smiley. The 2008 series, which was titled Date My Ex, aired on Bravo for one season.

Five years later, Tamra Barney starred in a RHOC spinoff, which followed her as she tied the knot with Eddie Judge. Tamra’s OC Wedding aired in September 2013. The special, a three-part airing, also featured Barney’s co-stars, Vicki Gunvalson and Heather Dubrow.

Since then, there have been reports of possible RHOC spinoff series, but nothing has come into play. When Barney first began filming her special, fans wondered if it would ultimately be turned into a series, as it was for The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Kim Zolciak. Years ago, Zolciak starred in a wedding series that was later turned into a full-time spinoff.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Tanous and her husband were said to be getting kicked out of their home after failing to make their mortgage payments. According to the report, the Tanous family has been skipping out on payments for nearly five years, and now, a bank reportedly has the right to throw them out of their house.

On February 23, Radar Online revealed the following information, via a court filing:

“U.S. Bank claims Tanous has missed the last 75 monthly payments of $6,000, and that she owes the institution $1.54 million, on a house that’s worth just just $840,000. Tanous also owes $300,000 to another bank on a second mortgage on the house she bought in 2006.”

Although Tanous starring in a RHOC spinoff is possible, it seems a bit unlikely, as she only appeared on The Real Housewives of Orange County for one season.
