Katie Maloney And Scheana Marie: ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Stars Are Close Friends

Katie Maloney and Scheana Marie established a close friendship during Vanderpump Rules season three, and in her latest Bravo blog, Maloney spoke of their relationship.

Throughout the first two seasons of Vanderpump Rules, Katie Maloney and Scheana Marie didn’t have much of a relationship. In fact, if anything, they were on the outs because of Marie’s ongoing tension with Stassi Schroeder, who was previously the closest cast member to Maloney.

Then, during season three, Maloney and Marie decided to put their differences aside after Marie invited Maloney to come with her, and several other members of the cast, to Miami. While on the east coast, the two women bonded, and as Maloney’s relationship with Schroeder dwindled, her friendship with Marie grew strong.

In her February 16 Bravo blog, Maloney revealed that Marie has become one of her closest friends.

“I was pleasantly surprised at how far Scheana and I had come since the beginning of the summer. We had a bit of a tumultuous relationship. When we both decided to bury the hatchet and get along ahead of Miami, I didn’t know if it would be the same as it was with us. What happened was not only did we re-kindle our friendship, but Scheana has become of my closest friends.”

Even off-screen, Katie Maloney and Scheana Marie have been spending tons of time together, and not just as SUR Lounge, where they are both employed.

“Scheana has a huge heart and became a massive supporter of me and what happened with Tom and I this summer. Since then our friendship has grown, and I’m so thankful for her.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Schroeder has been seen less and less on the series, and hinted that season three may be her last.

For the last several days, Schroeder has been in New York City with her boyfriend, Patrick Meagher, and on Monday night, instead of supporting the series and her co-stars, she was tweeting about fashion week.

During a January Q&A, Schroeder opened up about her future on the series, claiming the stresses of being on a reality show were getting to her.

“The whole process of filming a reality show really does wear on me at times. You get confused between what is reality and what is not.”
