Could Kailyn Lowry be planning for a third child? According to a new report, the Teen Mom 2 star recently spoke about the possibility.
On February 16, Mstarz reported that Lowry confirmed she and her husband, Javi Marroquin, have no plans for another baby. Lowry revealed the news in a Twitter message to fans.
“I think 10 people, this weekend alone, have asked me when I’m going to start trying for another baby. Um, as of now, never.”
Kailyn Lowry and her boyfriend at the time, Jo Rivera, welcomed their first child, Isaac, during an episode of the second season of 16 & Pregnant in 2010. Following the child’s birth, Lowry and Rivera parted ways and began dating other people. First, Lowry dated a man named Jordan, who was seen on Teen Mom 2 . Months later, she met and began dating Marroquin and the pair eventually became engaged.
On episodes of Teen Mom 2 , fans watched as Kailyn Lowry and Marroquin’s relationship became more and more serious, leading up to their November 2012 courthouse wedding. One year later, just weeks before Lowry gave birth to their son Lincoln, she and Marroquin walked down the aisle in a second ceremony, which was also filmed for Teen Mom 2 .
At the end of last year, controversy surrounded the cast of Teen Mom 2 when Leah Messer announced on Twitter that she would not be filming the series’ upcoming sixth season. According to Messer, she wished the girls well in the continuation of the series, but felt it was time for her and her family to move on.
In the weeks leading up to Messer’s announcement, she and husband Jeremy Calvert’s relationship became strained. In October, Calvert accused Messer of cheating on him with Robbie Kidd, her ex-boyfriend. In November, it was Calvert who made headlines after allegedly having an inappropriate online relationship with Brittany Musick.
While Messer and Calvert’s relationship was plagued with drama at the end of 2014, they seemed to have made amends in 2015, and celebrated that New Year together. As the Inquisitr reported, Messer also reportedly signed on to appear on Teen Mom 2 season six, despite her initial plan to move on.
“Leah has signed on for Season 6!” The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reported .
“Although Leah was worried about having her marriage turmoil exposed on national TV again, she has agreed to do Season 6. Leah signed the Season 6 paperwork last week and will begin filming her segments soon!”
Kailyn Lowry will return to MTV for Teen Mom 2 season six, which will likely premiere sometime later this year.
