Teresa Giudice is currently serving time behind bars for fraud, but she’s still keeping up with the Real Housewives . According to an insider who spoke to the NY Daily News ‘ Confidenti@l team, Teresa has joined a TV watching club and is watching Empire, Scandal and The Real Housewives of Atlanta .
The article also reveals that the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, who has several cookbooks to her name, spends her time working in the kitchen, reading the tons of fan mail that she receives, and writing e-mails to her four daughters.
If Teresa really is watching the Atlanta housewives, it’s likely that she’s cheering on NeNe Leakes and not liking NeNe’s enemies on the show, Claudia Jordan, Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey.
That’s because NeNe has been a vocal supporter of Teresa’s. During her appearance on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live in November, 2014, NeNe said that she feels bad for Teresa. NeNe also revealed that Teresa asks her for advice .
“Teresa and I have had lots of conversations. We’ve talked a lot. She called me for some help with some other things and I helped her out….I feel bad for her, as well, I really do. I feel like when Teresa calls me, she knows that she’s going to get real, true advice. She’s just asking me for help with what I think about certain things.”
At that time, NeNe also said that she would visit Teresa in prison. Given that Teresa has only been behind bars for about a month, it’s likely that NeNe has yet to visit her. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , other people who have yet to visit Teresa in prison is her brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Melissa Gorga.
In December, 2014, just a few weeks before she had to start her prison sentence, Teresa Giudice and her daughters saw NeNe Leakes perform on Broadway in Cinderella . In an Instagram post, NeNe described Teresa as “[her] girl” and a “super strong woman.”
Perhaps once Teresa gets out of prison and returns to The Real Housewives of New Jersey , provided of course that the show is still running and she decides to return, NeNe will show up in an episode or two to support Teresa? In an interview with VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live , around the time that she saw Teresa after performing on stage, NeNe revealed which other Real Housewives shows she would go on if she were ever to leave The Real Housewives of Atlanta .
“I happen to be a fan of New Jersey. I would love to go over to New Jersey. I also like the Beverly Hills girls, too.”
