Donald Trump is seriously considering running for president in 2016. Trump has not decided as of yet; however, his upcoming plans will have a bearing on his decision.

Donald Trump boarded his $100 million, custom Boeing 757 airliner and flew to the 2015 South Carolina Tea Party Coalition Convention at Springmaid Beach Resort, in Myrtle Beach S.C. taking place through Monday.

Trump told FitsNews that America is in turmoil.

“I’m going to Iowa. I’m going to South Carolina. I’m going to New Hampshire. I’ve been invited by everybody. Maybe because they know my views. Maybe because of the great success of The Apprentice. I don’t know what it is but I will tell you I do very well in the polls.”

Three other 2016 presidential contenders are attending the sold-out convention. Along with the flamboyant business mogul Donald Trump, neurosurgeon Ben Carson, former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum, and U.S. Senator Ted Cruz will also be addressing the convention.

Donald Trump is estimated to be worth close to $4 billion. While being interviewed on a New York radio station, Trump told 970 AM’s The Cat’s Roundtable he would be visiting a number of early voting states while deciding whether he will choose to run for president.

Donald Trump added the following.

“The real unemployment rate is 20 percent. People are suffering out there. And the people that are most suffering are the people that don’t have much money to start out with.”

When Donald Trump appeared at the Economic Club in Washington D.C. early in the week, he was very close to announcing his intentions to run for president in 2016.

ABC News reports Trump had this to say in a discussion with philanthropist, David Rubinstein.

“I am considering it very strongly. A lot of people think I’m having fun with it, that I’m playing games, that I enjoy the process. And I do enjoy the process to a certain extent. Frankly I just think we need something very good, very fast or we’re going to be in very big trouble as a country.”

Trump cited the national debt as his motivation for considering running for office. Additionally, Trump said the Senate Intelligence Committee’s release of the torture report and its $40 million price tag plays a part in his overall decision.

“Do we have to announce the torture report? There are so many things that I see in this country, whether it’s common sense, or whatever. And I have a really big voice. I have, you know, millions and millions of followers on Twitter and Facebook. And when I say something some people don’t like it, but most people do like it.”

Donald Trump added.

“I would rather do what I’m doing than run for president. But I also love the country more and I just think that unless I see somebody that’s outstanding I would be very much be inclined to do it.”
