Ron Paul Finds John Huntsman’s One Voter at Iowa Caucus

Ron Paul’s campaign sent John Huntsman a pretty snarky message today on Twitter before the vote in Iowa. Paul apparently ran into a Huntsman supporter while making his rounds in Iowa, and like the good man that Ron Paul is, he decided to alert Huntsman immediately.

Paul’s camp tweeted:

“@jonhuntsman we found your one Iowa voter, he’s in Linn precinct 5 you might want to call him and say thanks.”

Ron Paul’s team must have felt a little bad about the tweet because it was deleted shortly after it was sent. But the group didn’t feel that bad because a few minutes after deleting the message they decided to re-post it.

ron paul tweetABC reports that Huntsman decided not to campaign in Iowa. Instead, the potential GOP candidate stumped in New Hampshire. Huntsman told ABC News that he’ll be watching an episode of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” tonight instead of the Iowa caucus.

Ron Paul, Rick Santorum, and Mitt Romney entered the Iowa Caucus tonight nearly tied in the polls. According to Yahoo!, the three are in a dead heat after the first third of the vote. Paul, Santorum, and Romney each have 23%.

Jon Huntsman’s is currently losing to “other” but beating “no preference.” Huntsman currently has 1% of the vote, thanks to his lone voter and the lone voter’s 210 friends.

Do you think Ron Paul’s tweet was funny? Mean?

Who do you think will win the Iowa caucus.
