Jax Taylor’s ‘Boyfriend’ Speaks Out, Is ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Gay?
Jax Taylor’s “boyfriend” is speaking out. On last night’s Vanderpump Rules, fans were led to believe Taylor had a gay past. However, according to his alleged “boyfriend,” Vincent De Paul, he and Taylor were never romantic.
De Paul told Radar Online the following on January 13.
“Jax and I modeled together in Miami Beach for Dulce de Leche. We did many campaigns together for different designers in South Florida. We quickly became friends.”
“Jax was always nice to me. People project sometimes that models and actors are gay because of their close camaraderie or friendship. If you see two guys modeling nude together for Bruce Weber, people project that they must be gay. Jax always loved his fellow models. It was a fellowship type of bonding.”
Although he and Taylor were close, and often he was labeled as Jax Taylor’s “boyfriend,” De Paul insisted their relationship was very professional.
“We went to L.A. fashion week together and were photographed. They used boyfriends in the title of what they published, but they meant boyfriend as in good friends.”
As for his sexuality, Jax Taylor’s “boyfriend,” De Paul, couldn’t exactly confirm Taylor was straight.
“Sexually, I’m not sure. I can tell you, though, that Jax did not mind if people saw the photo of us together with the label of ‘boyfriends.’ When Jax brought the photo to my attention at a house party in Beverly Hills many years ago we laughed about it. With Jax, there is always a celebration of everyone: man or woman. He has a great sensitivity, so people can perceive anything about him.”
“If there’s 10 guys in a model apartment in Milan or Miami and we’re all sleeping together, yes, people could say he ‘slept with guys.'”
While Taylor doesn’t have the best reputation on Vanderpump Rules, De Paul says he isn’t all bad.
Taylor “is a kind, loving person at his core. People may state that he has said mistruths, but there is a great person there inside.”
According to the Inquisitr, Taylor recently revealed he was happy dating just one woman.
“I used to put my relationships first before everything else and make it work and it just didn’t work for me. It’s really tough for me to date, especially for a young girl who knows who I am from the show,” Taylor explained to Wetpaint Entertainment.
“The show keeps becoming more and more popular and I can’t control what comes in social media-wise. It’s tough, I understand, for a young girl. I’ve hurt enough people in my life and I don’t want to hurt anyone else. If I put it all out there and she still wants to be a part of my life, great. If not, I understand. I chose this lifestyle and I chose to be on this show. You don’t know who’s in it for the right reasons and I’ve been burned a couple times.”
No word on whether or not Jax Taylor’s “boyfriend” will be seen in any other episodes of Vanderpump Rules.
