Parents Wake Up To Intruder Sexually Molesting Their 12-Year-Old Son In His Bed

Parents in Oxnard, California, woke up to a horrifying scene in their own home early Friday morning. The parents say that they woke up at around 4:20am after their 12-year-old son was able to get their attention. They found the boy being molested by an intruder in his bed.

According to KTLA, the 12-year-old boy was asleep when the intruder came into his bedroom and proceeded to attack him. The child was able to alert his parents, who came into the room and confronted the intruder. The parents demanded that he leave the home and, according to police, he immediately did so. However, by the time police arrived, the man was gone.

It is unclear at this time exactly how the boy was able to get the attention of his parents, whether it be through a scream for help or other means. The police have not released any further information regarding what direction the man may have headed when he left the scene or any additional details of the confrontation that took place in the home.

The Daily Mail claims that the intruder entered through the child’s bedroom window. However, a more recent report claims that there were multiple window screens cut from the home, but appear to all be unsuccessful attempts to gain entry. It appears that the man was finally able to enter the home through an unlocked back door.

Neighbors who were interviewed following the sexual assault are shocked that this would happen in their neighborhood. Monique Tazbeen, who lives near the family, says that the neighborhood is usually very calm, but did note that the neighborhood has a lot of children.

“I’ve never seen a problem. It’s always been really calm. The families seem to be really nice. There are a lot of kids around here and that’s scary.”

According to the local police, the suspect is still at large with the department looking for further leads. As of the time of this posting, the police department had not released a sketch of the individual in question. However, the family describes the man as hispanic, in his 20s, with a slender build. The suspect is about 6 feet tall. Leads on the case should be directed to the Oxnard Police Department.

However, not all home intruders get away form the scene. One machete wielding homeowner whacked an intruder in the head, knocking him out until police could arrive.
