LeAnn Rimes ‘Really Wants A Baby,’ Meets With Fertility Doctors

LeAnn Rimes is reportedly seeing fertility doctor Dr. Ingrid A. Rodi in Santa Monica, Calif., for IVF treatments. After failing to conceive on her own, the singer enlisted the help of Dr. Rodi in hopes of welcoming her first child with husband Eddie Cibrian.

An insider close to the singer told Life & Style the following.

“She hasn’t been able to conceive a baby on her own after trying for over a year.”

After discovering her chances of conceiving a baby naturally are slim because of “low hormone levels and low egg production,” Rimes knew she needed to get the process of IVF started. Otherwise, she may never birth a child.

“She feels like this is her only shot of having a child of her own. She really wants a baby.”

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian have been married since April 22, 2011. The couple initially met while filming the Lifetime movie Northern Lights. At the time, Rimes and Cibrian were both married, which caused quite the media circus when they were photographed kissing at a California restaurant.

Since the affair, Rimes has been on the outs with Cibrian’s ex-wife, Brandi Glanville of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and the two have engaged in a number of public feuds. Most recently, the pair clashed over a Watch What Happens Live appearance, in which Glanville discussed Cibrian’s private parts.

Glanville told host Andy Cohen the following, according to an Inquisitr report.

“He’s very well hung. He’s good at what he does, for sure. He’s had a lot of practice.”

Glanville and Cohen also chatted about Rimes coming aboard The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Cohen said the following.

“I don’t think so. I’ve never… She was pitched to this show [Watch What Happens Live] and I didn’t have her on, because I didn’t figure it would be the best business. If I’m in business with you, I just don’t think that would be smart. So I didn’t out of deference to you.”

When Glanville alleged Rimes had met with producers about joining the show, Cohen denied any such thing.

“That never got to me. I certainly would be intrigued. Frankly, I would love it. Actually, if she wants to be on the show, I think we should do it.”

In response to Glanville, LeAnn Rimes told her Twitter fans the following.

“It’s like a tabloid mag that doesn’t even know the person but talks about their life like they do.”
