‘Dance Moms’ Spoilers: Season 5 Brings New Changes, Fresh Drama
Dance Moms premieres Season 5 on Lifetime Tuesday night, and fans are thrilled to have new episodes to watch. There have been some changes in the dancer line-up for this new season, and it will be interesting to see how the fans react. What Dance Moms spoilers are available for the first Season 5 episode airing on Tuesday, January 6?
The show’s website teases that this first episode is titled “99 Problems But a Mom Ain’t One.” It seems this competition season gets off to a rough start for the Abby Lee Dance Company. Apparently a key team member disappears, and none of the kids or moms can reach her. Would this be referring to Chloe Lukasiak or one of the other dancers?
As fans saw in the Season 4 finale, Chloe and her mom Christi left frustrated and perhaps leaving the show. Christi has said that Chloe will never again step into Abby’s studio, but is she really gone for good? It will be interesting to see if Abby Lee Miller and the show address Chloe’s departure or sweep it under the rug.
Additional Dance Moms spoilers indicate that with one dancer gone, Miller will call in “an old friend” to help the team. Also in this episode, a former student threatens legal action against Miller, and it seems this could throw a big wrench into Abby’s big plans for the season. Though fans will have to tune in to find out, it seems very likely that this refers to Kelly, Brooke, and Paige Hyland, and the ongoing legal drama they have with Abby and the show.
The big Season 5 Dance Moms spoiler preview on the show’s Facebook page teases some additional scoop. Miller says that her Los Angeles expansion of the ALDC is happening, and she’s preparing the girls to become stars. She will apparently broaden her work with the girls to include more acting and music for all of them, but will this be a successful venture?
Abby is also seen tearing into Nia, screaming about her “pathetic feet.” Holly is seen crying, and even Miller sheds a tear at some point amid all of the drama of this premiere. Abby also hollers, seemingly to Holly – but that isn’t clear – that maybe she should call Christi and that Christi will help her out. Things get off to a tense and dramatic start with Season 5, it would appear.
As for Dance Moms spoilers regarding the competition, the Wikia page for the show shares the scoop. The group dance, a contemporary number called “Freak Show,” takes first place. Kendall has a solo titled “Victorious,” and she wins first place in the pre-teen category. Kalani and Nia both have solos as well, and it would seem they both placed second. It would appear that Kalani is the dancer that Abby brings back after Chloe’s departure. Maddie, Kendall, Kalani, Mackenzie, and Nia all participated in the group dance.
Will fans embrace Season 5 of Dance Moms given all the drama and changes over the past couple of seasons? There are still many who adore this show despite the fighting and departures, and chances are this season will be a hit as well. New episodes of Dance Moms air Tuesday nights on Lifetime.
