A dad passed out in a drive thru in California, with his 2-month-old baby in the car. According to NewsOXY , Raymond Collingwood, 24, was taken to a nearby hospital on Wednesday, after passing out at the wheel of his car at a McDonald’s restaurant in Modesto. Police were called to the scene to find Mr. Collingwood completely passed out, a baby, wet and crying, and a loaded.38 caliber revolver.

“The dad is charged with possession of a firearm by a person prohibited and carrying a concealed deadly weapon,” reports NewsOXY .
The child was placed in the custody of Child Protective Services for the time being, as police say that the man and child were homeless.
The dad who passed out in the drive thru was completely unresponsive when emergency personnel arrived at the fast food location. According to the SpreadIt , a couple of people approached the vehicle, and tried to wake Collingwood up without success.
“I was shaking him and yelling at him, but he was unresponsive. I picked the baby up, but the guy didn’t even move,” said a man named Ryan Downey, who was alerted to the vehicle when he heard an infant crying.
When the man finally did wake up, he didn’t really have the greatest reaction.
“He kind of jumped up and grabbed his stuff and flipped everybody off and started walking away,” Downey explained.
Authorities believe that alcohol was a factor in the case, but did not charge Collingworth with DUI.
Police learned that the baby usually stayed with his mother — who is also homeless — but had been staying with her mother. The man took the baby away from the home on Tuesday after getting into an argument with the baby’s mom. It’s unknown if the two are together.
The dad who passed out in the drive thru is still in jail as far as the media knows. It’s unknown when he will be in court.
McDonald’s locations across the country have been in the news quite a bit recently. Police have been searching for 21-year-old Demetri Johnson for over a week.
