While the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, was voted the second most influential trendsetter of 2014, in a recent poll published by the Daily Mail , it seems she has no qualms when it comes to wearing recycled maternity clothes.
Most recently, at the Queen Elizabeth Luncheon, which she attended along with her husband Prince William, the Duchess was spotted wearing the same red dress she wore about the same time last year, when pregnant with Prince George.
Us Magazine reports that despite the fact she recycled last year’s red dress, Kate Middleton looked every bit as stunning and radiant as she always does, and seemed comfortable in the Katherine Hooker dress in candy apple red.
Her look was complimented by a pair of chandelier earrings and a diamond necklace and her hair was in a half-updo style. The earrings and necklace were reportedly exactly the same ones she wore last year.
And at the recent Met dinner, she wore a blue Jenny Packham dress which was also recycled, but being tight-fitting, it could hardly be considered maternity attire at all, as it proudly showed her growing baby bump.
The annual Queen Elizabeth Luncheon is open to all members of the royal family, and is a time for the family to get together for those who don’t make it to the Queen’s residence in Sandringham for Christmas day itself.
On Tuesday, when attending a London Scout group meeting, Kate Middleton decided that comfort was the order of the day, as she showed up dressed down in a black hoodie, black jeans, and boots.
During the event, the Duchess worked alongside the children there to assist them in achieving their Disability Awareness badges, as well as helping with a cupcake decorating course.
It appears that it doesn’t matter what Kate Middleton wears when in public; whether pregnant or not, she always seems to pull off perfectly her chosen look, looking almost equally as good as in a black hoodie as she does in a designer red dress, even if it is recycled.
