Nina Dobrev New Boyfriend: Dating ‘Vampire Diaries’ Co-Star Chris Wood
Nina Dobrev has a new boyfriend. The gorgeous brunette is reportedly dating her Vampire Diaries co-star Chris Wood, whom fans of the show know as Kai.
According to Hollywood Life, Nina Dobrev and Chris Wood have been casually dating and have been spotted hanging out and even kissing off set.
However, if The Vampire Diaries fans are looking for Nina and Chris to get serious in the near future, they may be disappointed, as sources reveal they’re just having fun.
“They are great friends who have hooked up on the recent times they have been out together but they are not currently looking to start a relationship. They are both very cool about it and it has not ruined working with each other or caused any issues.”
It seems Nina Dobrev has a pattern of dating her co-stars, as she and her Vampire Diaries co-star Ian Somerhalder previously shared a three year relationship, which ended badly, is still rocky.
Meanwhile, fans have been going crazy about the possible new relationship and have taken to Twitter to show their excitement about the couple they’re already dubbing “WoodBrev.”
All the while, this could be causing even more problems for Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder on The Vampire Diaries set, as they’ve already been feuding about each other’s love lives and spending so much time together on set.
It all started after Nina and Ian split. After a few months, Somerhalder moved on to actress Nikki Reed, Dobrev’s former friend. This caused some issues as Ian began bringing Nikki to set.
Now that Nina Dobrev is dating another co-star, Chris Wood, it seems her boyfriend will also be hanging around The Vampire Diaries set as well. This could mean more trouble and fighting or perhaps a truce as both Dobrev and Somerhalder will just finally move on and be able to work together without issues.
The Inquisitr previously reported that Nina and Ian could be using all the reports and gossip of drama to their advantage by not commenting on the rumors or debunking them they may be earning some big publicity for The Vampire Diaries, which is currently in Season 6 and down in the ratings a bit.
