Kate Gosselin is ready to return to reality television with Kate Plus 8 , but the controversial mom isn’t ready for the world to see her relationship with her married bodyguard, Steve Neild.
Neild has been seen following along as Kate and her eight kids film new episodes of the show, which is set to premiere in January on TLC. Witnesses say that Neild has been looking over the family and keeping the public at bay.
“We noticed Kate and her eight kids walking towards the entrance,” eyewitness Jennifer Kelly told Radar Online . “I had my camera in hand and when I went to take a picture of Kate and the kids, Steve Neild came around the car and ended up in the picture!”
Many believe that Kate Gosselin and bodyguard Steve Neild have a much deeper relationship, and apparently Neild’s wife is one of those people. She reportedly gave Steve an ultimatum to cut off communication with the 39-year-old Gosselin or else the marriage was over.
Steve backed off at the time, but now seems to be back. He was seen escorting Kate and her kids to several events, including a One Direction concert.
“Kate’s really happy that Steve’s back,” a source told Radar. “Her life is sort of secluded when it comes to friends and people close to her, so she’s happy to have someone she knows and trusts around.”
The relationship comes as Kate and her family are about to return to the public eye. After catching up with Kate and her family for a single episode back in June, TLC decided to produce an entire season of the show. Viewers will see Kate dealing with her now-older children, with the sextuplets that viewers came to know as toddlers now turning 10.
But fans who tune in to Kate Plus 8 won’t get to see the relationship between Kate Gosselin and Steve Neild. TLC released a trailer for the upcoming season , one that does not include Kate’s bodyguard — even at events where he was along with the family.
