Tila Tequila Gives Birth To A Baby Girl
Tila Tequila is a mom!
Years after taking the world by storm as a model on Myspace, the former MTV reality star has given birth to her first child.
“Tila Tequila gave birth to her first child, a baby girl, on Sunday, Nov. 16,” the 33-year-old confirmed to Us Weekly on November 17. “She named her daughter Isabella Monroe Nguyen.”
“I am so in love with her,” Tequila told the magazine of her daughter, who weighed in at 7 pounds and 2 ounces. “She’s so perfect and beautiful.”
In addition to her Myspace fame, Tequila also gained notoriety for her multiple appearances on MTV. In May 2007, Tequila starred in A Shot At Love with Tila Tequila, which followed the model and singer as she attempted to find love among both female and male suitors. During the series, the proud bisexual star chose a male, Bobby Banhart, but broke up shortly after the show aired. Months later, the series was renewed and renamed A Shot at Love II with Tila Tequila. On the second installment, Tequila chose a woman named Kristy Morgan, but Morgan was uninterested in continuing with Tequila.
Tila Tequila went on to engage in a couple of high-profile relationships with other celebrities. In 2009, Tequila dated NFL player Shawne Merriman. At the end of their courtship, Tequila sued him for assault, battery and false imprisonment, which he was eventually acquitted of in court. In December 2009, Tequila announced she was engaged to hotel heiress Casey Johnson. Sadly, Johnson was found dead just weeks after the couple’s video announcement.
Following Johnson’s tragic passing, Tequila removed herself from the spotlight, only to resurface in April 2014, announcing, as reported by the Inquisitr, she was expecting her first child. Days later, Thomas Paxton Whitaker was revealed to be the father.
On Saturday afternoon, Tequila took to her blog, where she shared the last photo of her baby bump. As the Inquisitr reported, Tequila often shared baby bump photos during her pregnancy. “LOOK AT THAT BIG, HEALTHY BELLY![sic]” Tequila wrote in the November 15 blog post. “She’s got even BIGGER than last week believe it or not! If she gets any bigger, I swear, my back will break at any moment now! Geeez! This has got to be one of the longest pregnancies ever! Who knew that ‘Tila Tequila’ would have such a long pregnancy and such a HUGE BABY BELLY? Not me![sic]”
Tequila also spoke of her feeling that her baby would arrive soon after she wrote the blog.
“I have a feeling that soon after this blog goes up… this crazy baby will finally make her grand entrance into this world! And then I know for a fact that I am really going to miss being pregnant because to be honest, I have really, really enjoyed my pregnancy so far! I love being able to feel my baby move inside of me, I know when she’s happy, I know she hears me when I talk to her. I just feel this incredible bond with my daughter and I feel like she is so safe in there and protected from all harm!”
