Apple on Thursday released a fix for their iOS 5 battery issue, a situation that left a “small number of iPhone 4S users” with a battery that wouldn’t last through an entire days use (a rare occurrence for Apple based Smartphones).
The new update (iOS 5.0.1) aims to fix the battery issue although exactly what caused the problem has not been revealed by Apple developers.
The update is available now and can be downloaded through iTunes or via Wi-Fi.
Apple says the new update also offers several iCloud fixes and provides better understanding of Australian accents for the devices Siri voice assistant technology.
