Eileen Davidson On ‘RHOBH’ Season Five: “It’s So Surreal”

Eileen Davidson is one of two new cast members on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Following the exits of season four stars Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia, Davidson and fellow soap star Lisa Rinna were brought aboard the cast. Right away, the drama began. As the Inquisitr reported earlier, the fifth season of the show is the “most violent” season yet, and judging by the series’ trailer, Davidson is right in the thick of things.

“It’s so surreal!” Eileen Davidson, who stars on The Young & The Restless, told Bravo’s The Dish on November 3 of joining the cast. “But also very exciting and a little nerve wracking. I’m used to scripts when I’m being filmed so this has been a new experience!”

“It’s like being on a roller coaster,” Davidson continued. “And you can all take the ride with me!”

In September, just months after filming began, Radar Online claimed Eileen Davidson was on the outs with Kim Richards.

“Davidson “didn’t make any effort to try to get to know Kim at all,” an insider told Radar. “Eileen can come off as very snobbish and aloof.Whenever Kim and Eileen film together, there is always a lot of eye rolling on the part of the soap star. Eileen complains that Kim is a total airhead and doesn’t understand why she is even on the show. In Eileen’s opinion, Kim is a total bore, and just rides on her sister, Kyle’s coattails.”

Fortunately for Richards, the “drama is nothing new,” the source explained. “She has been through it all and doesn’t care what Eileen has to think or say about her. This is just a job for her and doesn’t take it seriously at all.”

Radar’s source also seemed to hint Davidson was not getting along with Rinna. “There’s a very interesting dynamic between Eileen and fellow cast member and soap sudser, Lisa Rinna. Everyone will be extremely surprised by their relationship,” the insider revealed.

Although the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be Eileen Davidson’s first, she’s pulling in one heck of a paycheck. In fact, according to an Inquisitr report, Davidson’s salary of $750,000 for the season far exceeds that of her co-stars, who’ve been with the series for many seasons. Even series veteran Lisa Vanderpump reportedly makes less.
