Aaron Hernandez ‘Ballin’ In Prison? Former NFL Player Reportedly Loves Prison Life

Aaron Hernandez reportedly isn’t living the life behind bars most would expect considering he’s a first-degree murder suspect. The ex-NFL star, who was indicted on murder and weapons charges back in September of 2013, insists prison life really isn’t all that bad.

As a matter of fact, he reportedly loves his new life. According to TMZ, he’s even written another letter reiterating how he feels about prison life.

Although the former New England Patriot had a beautiful home before his indictment, he seems to be quite pleased with the fact he has his own cell in the Suffolk County Jail. Hernandez even insisted he’s “ballin'” in jail. The former tight end also has a new hobby in addition to drawing pictures of nude women — reading. His favorite novel character at the moment is Harry Potter, whom he comically refers to as a “gangster” in the letter.

“I’m on the block here lovin’ it. I got my own cell too and n–ga. I’m out all day only lock in 4 [hours] a day… So we be ballin’. You know, my realest n*gga I ever fucked with, I’m still f*ckin’ with — Harry motha f*ckin’ Potter.

However, this isn’t the first time he’s reportedly made light of his time in prison. The former tight end has penned a number of letters since he’s been incarcerated.

Back in December of 2013, several media outlets reported news of his alleged drawing of nude women and another two-page letter he’d written during his time at Bristol County House of Corrections. Although he still maintained his innocence, he isn’t too bitter about being stuck behind bars. At the time, he revealed his life was much less stressful.

“I’m way less stressed in jail than when I was out of jail,” Hernandez wrote. “I’m just anxious to go to trial to see what’s up and prove my innocence.”
