NeNe Leakes has been working on building her career aside from The Real Housewives of Atlanta . It is no secret that she has been trying to distance herself from the Bravo show because she wants a film and television career that doesn’t involve fighting and arguing with other women. Even though her career in Hollywood didn’t pan out, she hasn’t given up.
NeNe Leakes is not only returning to Glee to film the final season, but she is also heading to Broadway this month. In August, she announced that she was cast as the wicked stepmother in the Broadway production of Cinderella Now she reveals how she really feels about doing theater.
According to a new Bravo report, NeNe Leakes is now revealing that she is feeling scared and excited for this new project. She is scheduled to start performing in late November, meaning she has about two months to get ready for the show.
“My life today! Studying hard! I hope you come see me in the amazing Broadway CINDERELLA! Scared & excited all @ the same time,” NeNe revealed, sharing a photo of her Broadway script for the role.
Of course, NeNe Leakes has tried to do various things to leave The Real Housewives of Atlanta behind. She has started her own clothing line for curvy women, she has been taking on various appearances on shows, and she recently appeared in Las Vegas in Cirque du Soleil’s production of Zumanity .
However, another rumor has been circulating over the past week. According to The Inquisitr , NeNe Leakes is rumored to be the person who will replace Joan Rivers on Fashion Police . Nothing has been confirmed yet, but she would be an excellent person to replace Rivers. She has her own fashion line, and she does have an opinion about people that can only fit well with the show.
This weekend, NeNe Leakes shared some tweets that some people interpreted as her announcing her exit from The Real Housewives of Atlanta . She tweeted about being grateful for new opportunities, but she didn’t specify which ones. To guess that she is announcing her leave from The Real Housewives of Atlanta may be crazy, especially since NeNe knows that people love her on the show.
