Kanye West and Kim Kardashian want to make North West a big sister.
The couple said they are trying for baby No. 2, though didn’t have much of a time frame for when it could happen.
“I hope so,” Kardashian told Us Weekly when asked whether a second child is coming. “You know, we’re trying. So I guess it’s all in God’s hands.”
Kim added that the birth of Nori helped transform her life.
“I think [motherhood] has changed me so much,” she continued. “Everything’s put into perspective and nothing really matters besides spending time with your family and only doing the things that are really important to you.”
While he plays family man at home, Kanye has again become a lightning rod for criticism after an incident at a recent concert. The rapper was recorded during a performance in Sydney telling the crowd to stand up before a song. When a pair of audience members remained seated, he stopped the show and pointed them out, saying the only way they should be sitting is if they were in wheelchairs.
It turns out the fans were indeed wheelchair-bound, making for an uncomfortable moment before Kanye West launched into his next song.
The incident brought quite a bit of criticism to the rapper and his over-sized ego, prompting wife Kim Kardashian to take to Twitter and defend her man .
On Monday, Kanye launched into a five-minute speech that called out his media critics, including Matt Lauer and Michael Strahan. In the speech, Kanye stressed that he’s a family man now.
“They’ve got this thing where they want the masses, the people who’ve never even heard one of my albums, to somehow read a headline that reads negative and to think that I’m a bad person. But the thing is… I’m a married Christian man with a family,” West said during his five-minute speech. “At my concerts, I make sure everybody has as good a time as possible. So all this demonizing me, it ain’t going to work after a while. Pick a new target, because I’m not one of these dumba** artists that you’re used to.”
If Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are successful, soon he will be a “married Christian man with an even bigger family.”
