Camilla Thurlow never got to celebrate Prince Harry’s 30th birthday at the big party he had planned, but the 25-year-old beauty queen is still advancing quickly in her relationship with the young royal.
Harry called off the 30th birthday bash due to sister-in-law Kate Middleton’s bout with a severe form of morning sickness. Kate had announced earlier this month that she is pregnant, and like her first pregnancy with Prince George, is suffering the effects of Hyperemisis Gravidarum, which has left her dehydrated.
Kate was one of the chief planners of Harry’s birthday bash, which would have been one of the first times he could step out publicly with new girlfriend Camilla Thurlow.
Camilla could still get her chance to officially debut as Harry’s new girlfriend. Sources say that Harry wants to plan a new party, most likely once Kate Middleton has recovered a bit.
“He has promised his friends he will organize a post-30th birthday party when the time is right,” a source told the UK’s Mirror .
Though her debut will wait, Camilla Thurlow appears to be moving along quickly with Prince Harry. Sources say that she is different from any of his other girlfriends, and could have Harry considering marriage for the first time.
“Camilla is a perfect girlfriend for Harry and could make an ideal royal wife,” a source told The Daily Star . “She has impeccable breeding, is gorgeous, discreet and moves in the same social circles. And everyone thinks it’s hilarious that she has the same name as his stepmum.”
Others have gone so far as to say that Harrry is “in awe” of his new girlfriend.
“She’s the total opposite of other girls Harry’s dated, and it drives him crazy. She’s the most intelligent woman he’s ever been with. He’s in awe of her,” a source told OK! magazine. “She regularly turns him down for dates if she has something else going on and it’s making him want her more.”
While she may be getting along well with Prince Harry, it appears Camilla Thurlow will have to wait a bit longer to make her big debut with him.
