French Montana On Life After The Kardashians
It seems like the romance between French Montana, the Moroccan-born rapper, and Khloe Kardashian really is over. However, according to an interview with People, Montana isn’t taking it too badly, saying, “I’m feeling great. Feeling great and looking even better.”
The break-up between Kardashian and Montana does seem to be fairly amicable. Khloe referred to her break-up with Montana rather cryptically on Instagram, posting a quote by poet Robert M. Drake.
“Maybe one day we’ll find that place where you and I could be together. And we’ll catch our dreams within the waves of change. So smile for me one last time and believe that we’ll meet again. Until then, I’ll be missing you.”
A source told People that Khloe thinks French Montana is a “great guy,” but that things between the two of them simply weren’t working out. Before rumors of the break-up between Montana and Kardashian surfaced, the two had been practically inseparable since April. But it seems like the relationship may have just been a spring fling for the both of them. Sources say that Khloe and Montana still talk.
Khloe appeared in French Montana’s “Don’t Panic” music video in August, and Montana is featured prominently in the trailers for Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons. Montana’s prominence in the show was seen as proof of how much he cared for Khloe, since he was not a fan of being on a reality show.
“The thing about they TV show that I respect is that at first, I was telling Khloe I didn’t want to be on it. Me telling her that is like trying to ruin her thing. They show us more… It’s really reality, what they do every day. So, if she comin’ to see me, they like, ‘We have to do this. How much do he need? We gotta buy his time.’ That’s the thing with them. I’m sure Kanye didn’t want to be on there, too. But they was like, ‘Nah.'”
But the relationship that was so hot and heavy over the summer has ended. Some believe Khloe is still in love with Lamar Odom. Other sources claim that Khloe felt that Montana had become too dependent upon her, and had become needy. One source said “It grated on her that he became so dependent on her.”
Whatever the reason, French Montana has put on a brave face and hasn’t let it slow him down, although he does admit that his personal life is a bit rocky right now.
He told People, “[I am] working on movies and my album and making sure all my artists are straight.” He then added, “And definitely try to get rid of all these problems I got.”
When asked about his problems, Montana replied, “Baby mama drama and all kind of different [stuff].”
