Christina Aguilera has welcomed a baby girl with her fiance, Matt Rutler, according to an exclusive report by PopDust . The 33-year-old singer reportedly had a c-section at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles earlier today. The Voice mentor revealed that she and Rutler were expecting a baby girl together back in February. This is the first child for Rutler, and the second for Aguilera. She has a son, Max, 6, from her marriage to Jordan Bratman.

“A well placed source tells Popdust Aguilera and Rutler arrived at Cedars Sinai at 8 am this morning to check in to her private, deluxe birthing suite and that everything went exactly to plan.”

There has not been any information about the baby’s name, weight, or time of birth. Christina has not made an official announcement of any kind, but chances are, she will have a rep release a statement soon. She and Rutler are probably just enjoying their time together with their new baby girl.

According to Hollywood Life , Christina Aguilera has been quite busy through much of her pregnancy. Although she left The Voice (likely temporarily), Aguilera has been working on another studio album. She is very excited to be recording new music, and it’s possible that she will head out on tour in 2015.

“Although Christina took a break from judging ‘The Voice ‘ during her pregnancy, that didn’t slow her down from working on new music for her fans!”

As previously reported by The Inquisitr , Christina wanted to have a natural childbirth with her baby girl after electing to have a c-section years ago with her son. It’s unknown if this is true, but reports do say that Aguilera had a c-section today. Although many doctors caution against having unnecessary c-sections, many celebrities still choose to undergo the invasive surgery. The reasons aren’t completely clear. Perhaps some women don’t want to go through traditional labor pains, so they schedule a c-section in an effort to avoid all of that commotion.

Regardless of how Christina had her baby, her little girl is here — and fans are excited to hear all of the details!
