Milla Jovovich Is On A Pressured Quest For Baby Number Two

Milla Jovovich is ready to become a mother again, and she is well aware that time may be running out.

The 38-year-old mother of one wants to have another baby before she gets much older and because she wants her children to be close in age, according to CTV News. Her daughter, Ever, is 6-years-old, and is putting the pressure on her mother to give her a baby brother or sister.

“Ever is always talking about how much she wants to be a big sister. I have to do it before she is too old to enjoy it. I don’t have all the time in the world to think about it,” Milla told Hello! magazine.

Jovovich is married to Paul W.S. Anderson, and she states that he does not want a huge age gap between their children, either.

Milla knows that her biological clock is ticking and could soon stop ticking all together. She understands that the longer she waits, the harder it may be to become pregnant. A woman’s fertility does decline as she gets older, leaving a much more narrow window of fertility for some women.

“I want to have a baby and that is my number one priority. If I don’t do it now, it will get more difficult the older I get,” Jovovich admitted.

The model and actress has been more than happy to be a “stay-at-home-mum” with her daughter. Milla has even been turning down work in order to stay at home with her only child.

“I have been saying no to everything. There is talk of doing another Resident Evil at the end of next year, but I don’t want to do anything before that. I’m happy being a stay-at-home mum. Mum world is amazing,” Jovovich stated in an interview.

Milla also admits that staying at home has helped her to get closer to her husband and makes her feel more at peace. Jovovich believes that this feeling will aid in her attempts to get pregnant for the second time.

“When I’m at home I’m not feeling any anxiety or stress over work, I’m a different person. My relationship with my husband becomes closer, too, when I’m relaxed, and that is really important if you want to have another baby,” Milla confessed.
