Shakira may be pregnant, and her hips definitely won’t be able to lie about it soon if reports from news outlets in Columbia are true.
According to Daily News , Shakira may be expecting her second child with Gerard Pique and could be as far as three months along.
Raul de Molina, co-host of the Univision show “The Fat Man and the Skinny Woman” told People en Espanol that Shakira is “indeed pregnant.”
Molina said, “She is indeed pregnant and that the parents are more than happy because she is expecting a girl.”
Molina believes that everyone should believe him because he confirmed Shakira’s very first pregnancy.
One friend of the 37-year-old pop star, singer Carlos Vives, reportedly told the outlet Noticias Caracol , “Yes, she is pregnant and she’s very happy.”
Sources claim that Shakira is taking “a lot of precautions” in regards to her health for the sake of her pregnant condition.
Shakira and her beau, 27-year-old Pique, already have one son together. Their adorable one-year-old son, Milan, is frequently seen in candid pictures on Shakira’s social media accounts.
Shakira met soccer star Gerard when he was in her music video, “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).”
Speculations that Shakira could be pregnant came to light during the closing ceremony for the World Cup in Rio. Shakira wore an outfit that covered up much of her curves, which is something that many fans are not used to seeing Shakira wear while performing, according to Daily News . She also did not move her hips as vigorously as she normally does, fueling the report that she is pregnant.
In April 2014, Shakira claimed that she had no time for being pregnant again because of her busy schedule, according to Latina .
Shakira reportedly said, “If it weren’t because of my music projects, I would be pregnant already.”
Shakira loves the idea of having more children and said that she would “love to have eight or nine kids” with Pique and that the children would be her own “futbol team.”
The pop star also loves the attention that her son Milan receives from her fans and told Latina , “They express so much love for Milan, so much affection. I can only hope that as he grows up he learns how to give that love back to all of those people that give him so much every day.”
Fans will soon be able to tell for themselves whether Shakira is indeed pregnant, but for now neither Shakira nor Pique have officially confirmed that she is pregnant with their second child.
