In 2010 actor Ryan Reynolds and his actress wife Scarlett Johansoon shocked a lot of people when they officially filed for divorce in December, however a new rumor is circulating that the couple may be reuniting after they were spotted having an intimate dinner together in a California restaurant this week.
According to snoops, they were seen at one of their favorite restaurants, a spot they frequented on a regular basis as a married couple and those around them said they appeared to be very flirty as they shared a secluded section of the restaurant alone.
Speaking to OK! Magazine an insider said they originally called it quits because Ryan wanted to be a dad and Scarlett wanted her career to come first, they revealed:
“Scarlett said her career is her baby,” while adding,. “But Ryan’s a family guy.”
That same source told the celebrity magazine that her short-lived relationship with Sean Penn was just a rebound.
“She got over the pain of their split by jumping into a fling with Sean, but when that fizzled, she admitted that she felt incredibly alone.”
Apparently she’s been hard at work trying to mend her broken relationship:
“Scarlett had been asking Ryan to meet since the first week of June. She’s been texting and calling him nonstop since the dinner.”
It could have just been a dinner among a former couple who have remained friends, at this time the couple’s reps are not disclosing any further information about their recent dinner or future plans.
