Is Jennifer Lopez Dating ‘DWTS’ Maks Chmerkovskiy As A Rebound?
Even if her eighth studio album isn’t faring very well on the charts, Jennifer Lopez doesn’t seem to be letting the news phase her. She was recently spotted on a dinner and dancing date with Maks Chmerkovskiy after denying that the two were in any way romantically involved.
According to the report provided by Hollywood Life, Maksim and J-Lo were heating up the dance floor at the Shrine Nightclub in Connecticut, of all places. Furthermore, Maks was said to have attended Jennifer’s concert at the Foxwood Resorts Casino earlier in the evening. Though the 44-year-old singer has vehemently denied any claims that she is romantically linked to the dancer, it just might be possible that she has since changed her tune.
An eye-witness account disclosed that “Maks was whispering into her ear and hugging her. They looked very flirty with each other. She had a huge smile on her face and looked like she was having a great time.”
But even if the two entertainers arrived to the club together, they didn’t leave together. While hanging at the club the two seemed pretty inseparable but Maks ended up leaving with one of his buddies after a long embrace with J-Lo. Lopez remained at the Shrine Nightclub with a group of her friends.
Maks Chmerskovskiy recently won Dancing With The Stars season 18 with his partner Meryl Davis, to whom he has also been romantically linked. Jennifer Lopez is fresh off a break up with her longtime boyfriend Casper Smart and might be moving on. She was first introduced to Maks through a mutual friend, Leah Remini, and the two seemed to hit it off. After their initial meeting, the two shared the stage 2013 American Music Awards. Lopez has also attended Maks’ brother Val’s birthday party, which was held at the Library Bar in L.A. in March.
However, a source close to Jennifer insists that Jennifer and Maks “are friends”, and also added, “She doesn’t have a second to date anyone right now, and it’s definitely not romantic with Maksim.”
A rep for Chmerkovskiy declined to make a statement at the time of this posting.
