Justin Timberlake And Taylor Swift Among Teen Choice 2014 Nominees

Looks like Justin Timberlake will continue his reign at awards shows into the summer. Timberlake joins tween favorite Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and One Direction in the first round of nominees for the Teen Choice Awards for 2014. As always the awards will air live on Fox on August 10.

According to Billboard, Taylor Swift is leading the nominations. Swift, “is included in the female artist and country artist categories, as well as in the bonus Choice Smile category.”

As for Justin Timberlake he’s nominated for Best Male Artist, and Choice R&B/Hip-Hop Artist thus far.

It’s not a huge surprise that Timberlake is still in the spotlight months after his double disc releases have come out. Timberlake has been steadily promoting both discs of The 20/20 Experience since last summer. Timberlake made a triumphant return back to music after a six year hiatus, which saw Timberlake’s star rise in romcoms and comedies.

He returned in a huge way with Jay Z on a few collaborations, notably the first hit single off of his album “Suit & Tie.” Timberlake then went on tour with Jay Z for a limited time for the duo’s Legends of The Summer tour and then from there went on a worldwide tour to promote his albums.

The second tour, saw Timberlake making pit stops at 30 rock for Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show and Saturday Night Live, went on without a hitch. During this time the singer also promoted his part in the Coen Bros film Inside Llewyn Davis and a box office bomb Runner Runner. With only a few dates of freedom, Timberlake has been going strong for a year straight.

With his busy work schedule it’s difficult to see how he and wife Jessica Biel would find any time for themselves, but apparently that’s what holidays are for. As we previously reported Timberlake took a day off to romance his wife Biel on Father’s Day.

The two were spotted at the Lakeside Golf Club in Toluca Lake in California. Sporting matching golf gear which included baseball caps and sneakers, this is the first time the couple has been spotted in weeks which didn’t bode well for the couple. Fortunately, as we reported, Justin’s grandmother Sadie Bomar has kept those pesky rumors at bay.

Timberlake and Biel had to deal with rumors that they were having a baby as well as getting a divorce, but according to Sadie all of those reports were false.

Hopefully Justin’s next project will be a nice long break.
