Bill Murray is at it again, after crashing a bachelor party and giving an epic speech — and this time, he’s all up in some random couple’s engagement pics.
In case you missed it, Bill Murray has eternally been linked with showing up and being awesome unexpectedly, most recently appearing at the stag fete and now in these images.
Before that, there was an urban legend about Murray (which, given these acts, may have been accurate or may be rumor becoming real life.) According to common myth, Murray would materialize in a totally unexpected situation involving a sole un-famous person.
After [stealing a french fry, gifting a hat, etc], Bill would then tell the shocked subject of the story, “no one will ever believe you.”
However, in these engagement pics, Bill Murray is front and center and it’s really really awesome. And the apparent backstory is even cooler.
According to The Post And Courier , Murray has a house in Charleston, South Carolina. Local photographer Photographer Raheel Gauba gave the paper some gossip on the coolest engagement pics of all time.
Gauba says that he was snapping local resident Ashley Donald and her fiancé, Erik Rogers, but the pair had gotten “distracted” during the shoot.
The photographer adds:
“I thought who the heck is bothering them? I turn around and it’s Bill Murray with his shirt up, belly out, tapping his belly and trying to make them laugh.”
It gets better! Of course, Gauba asked the star if he’s pose for a picture, and of course, Bill Murray said yes, because he is Bill Murray. Gauba quotes the actor as saying, “sure I would.”
He concludes:
“I took the shot and off he goes.”

Late in May, the account of Bill Murray crashing a bachelor party went viral, and one attendee recalled:
“We talked to the waiter to see if we could send him some drinks, to which Bill declined. One of my buddies then went down and asked if he’d come up and say a few words for EJ and got a ‘no thanks.’… My buddy comes back up dejected and tells us it’s not going to happen. Two minutes later, Bill f***ing Murray walks into the room and gives this speech.”
It seems Bill Murray’s appearance in engagement photos at at bachelor parties is sort of making him 2014’s hot wedding accessory. Is this the best engagement pic of all time?
