Clearwire Debuts $99 Clear Spot 4G Apollo Hotspot

Towards the beginning of July the Clearwire Clear Spot 4G Apollo hotspot was seen at the FCC and now the device has made it’s way one step closer to store shelves with a price tag of $99 or a lease price of $6/month.

Clearwire announced on Monday that the device will reach customers by “late July.”

The device, built by Gemtek, allows up to eight simultaneous connections and is said to delivery six hours of continuous use with a built-in rechargeable battery.

Plans for the device start at $35 while an unlimited plan is $45/month with no long term contract.

Do you think the device and pricing are enough to drive sales for customers looking for a simple yet fast solution for their mobile needs?
