The Countdown To Kim Kardashian And Kanye West’s Wedding Has Begun!
The minutes are ticking away to the Kardashian wedding that many have been waiting for. Kanye West and the Kardashian family and their friends have been spotted arriving on multiple flight to the wedding destination of Florence, Italy.
According to US Weekly, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were not spotted arriving together, but that is to be expected on their big day. The groom can’t be seen with the bride before the actual ceremony — that’s bad luck, after all! And everyone knows that Kim doesn’t want anything to jeopardize her wedding with the 36-year-old rapper.
Others that have been spotted arriving in Florence include Scott Disick, Jonathan Cheban, and Brittny Gastineau. According to E! News, Kim was spotted arriving at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence around 3 pm local time. Riding with her reportedly was her grandmother, Mary Jo.
According to an eyewitness: “A convoy of cars arrived at around 3 pm local time. Kim was in the first car, which was a Mercedes-Benz. They drove the car right up and her assistant opened the door and Kim dashed in. She looked to be wearing white.”
Following the blushing bride-to-be was sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Khloe Kardashian, and then came Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian with their two children Mason and Penelope. Not too long after the arrival of the Kardashian-Jenner children came their mother, Kris Jenner, according to E! News.
US Weekly has reported that as the family and friends of Kim and Kanye begun arriving for the wedding preparations, staff at the Forte di Belvedere were busy with last minute venue preparations. One of those last minute details includes a large wall of white flowers.
“The blooms include white gardenias, white peonies and white roses from Paris and Belgium,” a source told Us Weekly.
Two workers reportedly were given the task of not only building the large wall, but also hanging flowers onto “pre-prepared square tiles with a wet foam backing.” This task wasn’t made easy considering it was a hot day in Florence. “It’s very hot at the moment so they’ll have to spray them with water until the wedding starts to stop them from wilting,” the source explained.
But what was the biggest worry of the day? According to US Weekly, it was the lack of details in getting everyone and everything to the right places at the right time.
“Kim and Kanye’s style team are freaking out about getting there on time,” said a source close to the event. “They were all on really early morning flights from Paris and everyone’s spread out on different flights and in different hotels. The team are worried something will go wrong because Kim and Kanye are staying a long drive from where they’re staying. They genuinely don’t know anything and it’s causing a lot of stress,” the source added.
