South Korean Lawyer Beats Apple In iPhone Tracking Case

Kim Hyung-suk, a South Korean lawyer has successful won his battle with Apple after the company fessed up to an iPhone tracking “glitch” which allowed the tech firm to track the every move of their users.

Hyung-suk scored a 1 million won ($946) verdict in the case. While the amount of money won is low by American dollar standards the lawyer now plans to file a class action lawsuit against the company with has left his office phones ringing off the hook.

Kim has also setup a website to help with his class action lawsuit goals and it has crashed due to extremely heavy traffic from iPhone users in the region.

Two US firms have also filed lawsuits against Apple over their tracking of iPhone customers and with precedents being set around the world that $946 payment could spell big payouts to Apple in the future.
