Sony extends PSN ‘Welcome Back’ program until July 5

If for some reason you decided to wait until the last possible moment to pick up your free games from the Welcome Back program, only to miss it, Sony has graciously extended the program until July 5 at 9 AM PDT to give you even more time to procrastinate.

Apparently, Sony chose to make the extension due to confusion surrounding the end date, Joystiq reports. Users took the “expires on July 3” to mean that it expired on midnight July 3, not midnight July 2. As a result, Sony decided to push back the end date one day later, ending at a time that is a little less ambiguous.

So if you’ve yet to pick up your two (or four, if you have a PSP) free games and your complimentary PlayStation Plus subscription, you better get to it right now.
