The Samsung Galaxy S II is now the company’s quickest and best selling Smartphone, having surpassed the 3 million units sold mark in just 55 days.
The phone quickly grabbed consumers attention with a dual-core smartphone, Super AMOLED Plus display, Google Android OS and a top notch camera with 1080P video recording and playback.
According to JK Shin, President and Head of Samsung’s Mobile Communications Business:
“This milestone reflects the continued strong support from our carrier partners around the world who have chosen the GALAXY S II as their flagship Android device.”
To put those sales numbers in perspective at least one Galaxy S II has been sold nearly every 1.5 seconds since being released, approximately 57,000 devices per day.
With new Samsung devices on the way and Google Android currently outselling the Apple iOS line of devices the company should be feeling pretty good about their increase in quality and consumer loyalty.
