Rumer Willis’ epic wardrobe malfunction April 23rd has been well documented across the Internet. But was it all part of her grand plan to become the next reality star?
As reported by the Inquistr , Rumer Willis flashed a bit more than leg at the Elle Woman In Music event:
“The 25-year-old celeb, who DJ’d at the event, complimented her look with an “Isabella Square” skirt by Franziska Fox that had revealing side-panel cutouts. So revealing in fact that her bright pink panties were on clear view for all to see.”
Wardrobe malfunctions are not uncommon in Hollywood and Rumer Willis could be the next celebrity in line to use the added exposure to boost her career. In fact, a blog post on Popdust.com suggests that the Willis sisters, Rumer, 25, Scout LaRue, 22, and Tallulah Belle, 20, could use this kind of notoriety to become the next Kardashians . Popdust explains:
“It only makes sense to elevate a new trio of super smart, totally gorgeous and amazingly talented sisters to the top of the Hollywood food chain. We nominate the Willis sisters.”
But unlike the Kardashians, who have also used wardrobe malfunctions to boost their exposure, Stardust points out that Rumer Willis and her sisters actually have talent to back up their career aspirations. And in completely non- Kardashian fashion, Popdust claims that the Willis sisters have used hard work, not their famous last name, to achieve their lofty Hollywood status:
“What’s so amazing about these sisters is that everything they have achieved in life is because of their relentless hard work and undeniable talent and has very little at all to do with their parents being really famous movie stars.”
It’s not known whether Rumer Willis will benefit directly from this recent wardrobe malfunction or be able to spin it off into a reality career. Up to this point, Rumer has pursued an acting career having appeared in There’s Always Woodstock , The Ganzfeld Haunting and The Odd Way Home . But the added exposure a wardrobe malfunction presents can’t be considered a bad thing if Willis handles it the right way.
Of course the most famous wardrobe malfunction involved Janet Jackson at the Super Bowl in 2004. Singer Justin Timberlake helped coin the phrase wardrobe malfunction when he famously exposed the singer’s right breast. In that particular case however, the controversy associated with the incident did more harm than good and the singer was forced to issue an apology.
