Its been confirmed! Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada and her fiancé LA Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford have welcomed a baby boy! According to The Insider, Lozada gave birth at 3:55 AM MST on Saturday, Mar. 22. The publication reports that the baby weighed in at 8 pounds and 21 inches long.
After weeks of false reports The Insider’s Nina Parker spoke exclusively with Lozada shortly after the baby’s birth. The 38-year-old reality TV starlet shared brief details about the baby’s birth. She also expressed her elation of becoming a mother again.
“I’m literally on cloud nine! My baby boy is so handsome and I’m so geeked! I have been waiting for this little man to arrive and seeing his beautiful face is breathtaking. Thank God he came out quick.”
The happy couple shared their momentous occasion with Crawford’s family, her daughter, sisters and nieces. Lozada also took to Facebook and Twitter to announce the baby’s birth. Shortly after the announcement, fans began tweeting the congratulatory messages, as well. Lozada has been hinting about the upcoming birth of the baby, although she never revealed an official due date.

On March 15, Lozada shared a picture of her latest manicure via Instagram. The picture captured her baby nail design in honor of the baby’s upcoming arrival. She captioned the picture, “Festive nails for the soon to be arrival of my little prince! #BabyBoy #Excited #NailArt #Trendy.”
Back in November, Lozada created a media firestorm when she confirmed her pregnancy. She also shared her sentiments of embracing motherhood yet again. “I’m excited about being a mommy all over again. This is something I’ve been wanting for years and I can’t believe it’s finally happening,” she said at the time. One month later, Evelyn Lozada and Carl Crawford announced their engagement after dating for more than a year.
