Skinny Dipping World Record Set In Wales

If you happened to be in Wales on Sunday you may have noticed four hundred naked people swimming at the beach. The skinny dippers converged on the area to set a world record for the most naked swimmers in one area, while also raising money for charity.

Money was raised in support of the Marie Curie Cancer Care charity and to complete the record each swimmer had to remain in the water for at least 10 minutes with water up to their waist or higher.

The previous record was just 250 skinny dippers.

On Facebook one participant wrote: “Just back home and still grinning,” while adding, “What a awesome sight. It really is something that I will never forget.”

Skinny dipping for a cause? I wonder if this will catch on in other parts of the world, although in the U.S. everyone caught would have been arrested or fined.
