Kate Beckinsale And Husband Len Wiseman Spotted Enjoying A Stroll

Kate Beckinsale is coming off wowing everyone at the Grammys, but now she is going back to more quiet activities like enjoying husband Len Wiseman’s (Sleepy Hollow) company while going shopping.

The A-list couple was spotted walking arm in arm around town, looking for some greeting cards at a local store, where they were not afraid of public displays of affection.

Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman’s marriage appears to be going strong after 10-years and she seems to like to cuddle with the hunky director.

The 40-year-old British actress was wearing a casual, but chic ensemble. With her hair in a high ponytail, she sported black capris, a see through white top, black blazer, and white pumps.

Both Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman looked happy and relaxed while walking down the street in a beautiful sunny California day.

If Kate was stylish, Len Wiseman didn’t look to bad himself with jeans, black T-shirt, grey long sleeve shirt, and casual walking shoes. They both wore matching, very dark sunglasses.

The couple met in 2003, when Kate Beckinsale starred in Underworld in which she played Selene, a beautiful vampire warrior, embroiled in a war between the vampire and werewolf races, Len Wiseman directed the film.

At the time Beckinsale was maried to Michael Sheen, who also starred in Underworld and with whom she had an eight-year relationship and a daughter, Lily, now 14.

Len Wiseman was also married at the time he met Kate Beckinsale, while working together, however, he divorced his wife Dana, who is a kindergarten teacher and later married the actress in 2004.

In a strange, but refreshing turn of events — one we don’t see often in Hollywood — Kate, Wiseman, and Sheen have become close and usually hang out together.

Kate Beckinsale told Entertainment Weekly magazine in 2012:

“The popular notion of how Michael and I broke up —- that we were on (the first Underworld) and I ran off with the director (Wiseman) —- is just not true. If that were the case, I think it would be very difficult and peculiar to have an okay situation. But everybody involved has felt that the priority is Lily and wanting to get to a good place for her. And everyone is nice. So it’s not bad.”

And they all genuinely like each other, Sheen has been quoted as saying:

“Len is a really lovely man. He has been a fantastic step-father for Lily, I couldn’t really want anything better for my daughter.”

In 2009 Kate said of her ex: “He’s absolutely one of my most favorite people ever. I love him dearly—I would miss him dreadfully if he wasn’t in my life.”

For Kate Beckinsale there is no drama and in what many in Hollywood could learn from, she has kept her relationship with her ex civil for the sake of her daughter.
